Outbound Tourism Internship Internship
The Company is a rapidly growing tour wholesaler/operator. We are a vibrant, committed, and socially-responsible company that prides itself on knowing this wonderful Continent inside-out. The company employs local guides and local support staff. We support sustainable tourism and help further develop vital infrastructure for small communities in the countries in which we operate. We believe in community trade and work with small independent hotels and businesses, which provide all of our needs on tour. We have two offices in Australia.
Training & Experience Provided:
· Because it is a small company, interning in our Sydney office means exposure to different areas of our operations. The Sydney headquarters is run by one of the company’s two directors, who oversees our sales team, marketing manager, ticketing officer, business development manager, administrative and partnerships teams.
Interns work closely and interact with each of these valuable members of our Sydney team. The training provided will depend on the type of internship. For example, our tourism marketing internship will work mostly with our Marketing Manager as the company redefines its image in the market. Working in an administrative role provides an insight into how a small company operates and organises travel arrangements. This internship provides a glimpse into the behind

· business management and company development in a competitive market.

Are the Outbound Tourism Internships paid?
The Outbound Tourism Internships are voluntary/unpaid as the main benefit is to you through a meaningful learning experience, NOT on photocopying and making coffee. However, many host companies offer a stipend such as weekly transport costs. The internship will assist you in taking a big step towards your future career.
When can I start my Outbound Tourism Internship?
Our Outbound Tourism Internship start dates are flexible. We have students starting internships almost every Monday of the year (except in December and the first week of January).
Do you organise graduation Outbound Tourism Internships?
Yes. We can arrange internships to meet your graduation requirements. These commonly involve an assignment topic or thesis subject.
Can I receive credit from my University for the Internship?
If you send us your University requirements in order to gain credit for the internship then we will make sure to arrange a placement which meets these requirements.
Do you charge a fee for arranging a Outbound Tourism Internship?
