Tourism careers include working in a hotel or resort, on a cruise ship, in an adventure sports centre, as a tour guide leading activities and historical trips, as a travel guide writer or as a driver or flight attendant. Careers in tourism can offer exciting and unconventional work settings and opportunities.
A degree in Tourism teaches students about business management, marketing fundamentals, human resources, project management, sustainability, cross-cultural awareness and so much more. The knowledge and skills acquired through the program is essential and useful for a variety of different careers.

Whether for business or pleasure, ‘tourism’ involves all the facets of organising and caring for the traveller. Involving; accommodation, transport, insurance, day trips, meals, flights, tickets to shows and events. Tourism internships can be involved with either inbound or outbound tourists.
