DISCOVER OUR NEW VIRTUAL INTERNSHIPS PROGRAM! LEARN MORE
There have been reports of internships which could be classified as exploitation and of no benefit to the intern by students who:
– have arranged their own internships directly with host companies
– haven’t used an approved member of the Australian Internship Industry Association
All our host companies are aware of the expectations associated with providing a beneficial internship as detailed by the Fair Work Ombudsman.
Should the internship not meet the expectations of the intern or the host company, then Internships Down Under will resolve any issues immediately. If you arrange your own placement there is no support available should the internship not meet your expectations.
Internships are a big commitment which is why we suggest you always use an approved agency (such as Internships Down Under) to arrange your internship placement.
