Film Media Internship Internship
We were established in November 1999 with a vision to revolutionize the film and video industry. Within a year we expanded rapidly to meet with new technological advancements in visual communication.
We specialize in a variety of fields including Film, Video, and multi-media productions. We create films, corporate productions, some commercial advertisements, and DVD’s.
Our premises are situated conveniently in the St George district, minutes away from Sydney’s CBD and Airport. Our studio has been custom designed to suit client needs including video editing/compositing stations, and uncompressed HD systems.
We are unique in that we are one of the most creative, knowledgeable and cost efficient organizations in Australia. All of our staff are hand-picked highly trained professionals and receive additional training by our management team to ensure they are up to date with the latest technology and techniques.
Training & Experience Provided:
· We have about 4 people in total working here, but not all at the same time.
Example of internship;We are currently working on a wildlife television documentary. The films have already been shot, and over the next 6 months we will be editing 1 or 2 episodes. These documentaries will be shown on Australia's no1 television station, Channel 9 and Discovery HD in the US.
There are other projects we're working on, like corporate video productions for companies.
If you do accept this internship, you may have hands on editing and grading using programs like adobe premiere pro (HD version) and exposed to some 3D and 2D animation (we're currently developing a series). Other projects include social documentaries. If you don’t like editing and post production we wouldn’t recommend this internship for you.

Are the Film Media Internships paid?
The Film Media Internships are voluntary/unpaid as the main benefit is to you through a meaningful learning experience, NOT on photocopying and making coffee. However, many host companies offer a stipend such as weekly transport costs. The internship will assist you in taking a big step towards your future career.
When can I start my Film Media Internship?
Our Film Media Internship start dates are flexible. We have students starting internships almost every Monday of the year (except in December and the first week of January).
Do you organise graduation Film Media Internships?
Yes. We can arrange internships to meet your graduation requirements. These commonly involve an assignment topic or thesis subject.
Can I receive credit from my University for the Internship?
If you send us your University requirements in order to gain credit for the internship then we will make sure to arrange a placement which meets these requirements.
Do you charge a fee for arranging a Film Media Internship?
Yes, there is a fee for the comprehensive service we provide. Our fees will be sent to you once you have completed the enquiry form.
