The organisation is dedicated to helping people living with, or at risk of diabetes, their families, friends and carers. Their priority is the health and well-being of the community and they provide programs, services and information to help everyone affected by diabetes to live their best lives.

Training provided & learning outcomes to be achieved

Training will be provided across a range of areas including: Recruitment, HR Administration, HR projects and other areas of HR.

Training alongside the HR Manager, the key responsibilities of the internship will include:
– Creating HR processes and procedures
– Digitisation of physical files online
– Review of current documents and folders and archiving any old documents prior to the move of all HR
documents to SharePoint
– Researching and potential implementation of an online onboarding system
– Managing the launch of our new online learning library through our Learning Management System
– Other projects as required

Skills or Experience Required

Ideally the intern will have had some exposure within an office environment with the Microsoft Office Suite and preferably a final year HR/Business student looking for some practical, hands on experience within HR.
Ideally looking for someone with an inquisitive nature, a commitment to continuous improvement and an ability to work autonomously and manage a wide range of projects simultaneously.

· Marketing/Communications:
· Assist in the development and implementation of Marketing and Communication programs,
· Customer relationship coordination, eDM development, social media
· Assisting the Marketing Coordinator with content creation, google adwords implementation.
