Not For Profit Internship Internship
The company’s philosophy is a simple promise – “For the love of life”. Faced with a life-threatening chronic illness, children and adults with CF and their families fight daily for life against many challenges.
We believe every person diagnosed with CF and their families deserve the best possible quality of life, and we are committed to providing the support to make that possible.
This includes proving a number of services to people with CF and their extended families.
CFQ receives very little funding from government which means that we have to raise our funds to support our program.
Training & Experience Provided:
· We would be able to accept an intern in the marketing/fundraising/event areas. We have a highly qualified Business Development Manager who looks after this area and would be the person who the intern would work with.
Depending on the point of entry of the Intern they would be exposed to such activities as a Ball, a Bike Ride event, A Walking event, Community Fundraising, a Lunch as well as the other in house fundraising methods such as appeals, seeking sponsorship etc.
The other professional we could accept as an intern would be a Social Worker who could work in our Service Support area providing services to our clients. These people would work with a senior Social Worker.

Are the Not For Profit Internships paid?
The Not For Profit Internships are voluntary/unpaid as the main benefit is to you through a meaningful learning experience, NOT on photocopying and making coffee. However, many host companies offer a stipend such as weekly transport costs. The internship will assist you in taking a big step towards your future career.
When can I start my Not For Profit Internship?
Our Not For Profit Internship start dates are flexible. We have students starting internships almost every Monday of the year (except in December and the first week of January).
Do you organise graduation Not For Profit Internships?
Yes. We can arrange internships to meet your graduation requirements. These commonly involve an assignment topic or thesis subject.
Can I receive credit from my University for the Internship?
If you send us your University requirements in order to gain credit for the internship then we will make sure to arrange a placement which meets these requirements.
Do you charge a fee for arranging a Not For Profit Internship?
Yes, there is a fee for the comprehensive service we provide. Our fees will be sent to you once you have completed the enquiry form.
