Leisure Marketing Internship Internship
Our business is a shared boat ownership company, started in 1998, which is a leader in the field of boat-share. The company has 8 shared boats at Birkenhead Point and also has locations at Sanctuary Cove (Gold Coast) and the Whitsundays. We are a sales organisation, which also manages boats in its fleet for the equity owners. Although boat-share has been available commercially since 1998, it is not widely recognised as an ownership option in the general community hence the company has a market education responsibility as well as a product marketing commitment.
Our business is an Accredited Marine Broker through the Marine Brokers Association (a Division of the Boating Industry Association NSW) selling boats for vendors and stock boats owned by a sister company.
Both companies operate out of the same premises at Birkenhead Point Marina utilising the same staff who can offer customers a variety of options of boat ownership ranging from whole boat ownership in new or used boats to syndicated ownership and shared ownership. We also have a product for those wishing to have investment options through boat ownership.

The Leisure Marketing Internships are voluntary/unpaid as the main benefit is to you through a meaningful learning experience, NOT on photocopying and making coffee. However, many host companies offer a stipend such as weekly transport costs. The internship will assist you in taking a big step towards your future career.
When can I start my Leisure Marketing Internship?
Our Leisure Marketing Internship start dates are flexible. We have students starting internships almost every Monday of the year (except in December and the first week of January).
Do you organise graduation Leisure Marketing Internships?
Yes. We can arrange internships to meet your graduation requirements. These commonly involve an assignment topic or thesis subject.
Can I receive credit from my University for the Internship?
If you send us your University requirements in order to gain credit for the internship then we will make sure to arrange a placement which meets these requirements.
