Boutique Investment Internship Internship
The company is a boutique fund manager, investing in prime credit that has traditionally been closed to non-bank investors and that has been originated predominantly from marketplace lending platforms in USA and Australia.
Training & Experience Provided:
· Participate in the review, analysis and execution of Investment Strategy (primarily in Fixed Income/Loan instruments).
Preparation and presentation of strategy reporting, cash
· flow/valuation modelling and macro
· economic analysis.
Asset/Originator Analysis and research: Develop research to improve the team’s knowledge on specific topics. He/she will produce financial analysis of Consumer/Small business lending platforms, historical performance and trends.
Assist in further developing and formalising Originator due diligence processes.
Portfolio Management: Assist COO and Investment Director in the daily management of fund. Participate in the monitoring of the fund (portfolio performance, cash management/reconciliation, hedging and liaising with Fund Administrator & Custodian as necessary).
Portfolio Monitoring: Monitoring of the performance/valuation of a portfolio of Loans.
The candidate will assist in developing and implementing fund reporting and analysis software and work in collaboration with the management team and Fund administrator.

The Boutique Investment Internships are voluntary/unpaid as the main benefit is to you through a meaningful learning experience, NOT on photocopying and making coffee. However, many host companies offer a stipend such as weekly transport costs. The internship will assist you in taking a big step towards your future career.
When can I start my Boutique Investment Internship?
Our Boutique Investment Internship start dates are flexible. We have students starting internships almost every Monday of the year (except in December and the first week of January).
Do you organise graduation Boutique Investment Internships?
Yes. We can arrange internships to meet your graduation requirements. These commonly involve an assignment topic or thesis subject.
Can I receive credit from my University for the Internship?
If you send us your University requirements in order to gain credit for the internship then we will make sure to arrange a placement which meets these requirements.
