The company has raised and donated over $95 million for leading charities, community groups, schools and sporting clubs since 1997.
This has been achieved by providing Unique Holidays, money-can’t-buy Experiences, Memorabilia (Music/Movies/Sport) as well as Artwork and fine Wines for fundraising through Ballot Bidding, Silent and Live Auctions.
The company has operated auctions in 17 Countries and has affiliations with 9 offices across 6 Countries.
The new interns will become an important part of the team and will train in a variety of responsibilities and tasks.
Training provided & learning outcomes to be achieved
Sample Marketing / Event Management:
• Prospecting new events & clients for the company
• Together with the Senior Event and Accounts Manager, meeting with established and potential clients to secure their events, understand their requirements and commit their current events calendar.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce to manage, track and liaise with clients
• Attending and managing the fundraising component of each event to ensure smooth operations and a good financial return for our clients (for additional pay when outside office hours + commission at each event) – setting up, liaising with guests, processing payments, packing down
• Experiencing detailed event planning alongside experienced international event managers
• Liaison with clients leading up to their events, with a particular focus on the fundraising component of their events
• PA for the Group-CEO which includes diary and international travel management
• Monitoring contracts to present these results to the board of directors
• Assisting the marketing manager (e.g. social media content, customer and employee satisfaction observatory)
• Liaison with guests post event, with a particular focus on direct customer support
• Managing post-event operations including stock control, payment & invoice follow up, & results reporting
• Team management of new event staff, including training, briefings and activity at each event (between 2-10 people at each event)
• Data recording
• Option to work across different office locations, 5 months at each location

The Not For Profit Events Internships are voluntary/unpaid as the main benefit is to you through a meaningful learning experience, NOT on photocopying and making coffee. However, many host companies offer a stipend such as weekly transport costs. The internship will assist you in taking a big step towards your future career.
When can I start my Not For Profit Events Internship?
Our Not For Profit Events Internship start dates are flexible. We have students starting internships almost every Monday of the year (except in December and the first week of January).
Do you organise graduation Not For Profit Events Internships?
Yes. We can arrange internships to meet your graduation requirements. These commonly involve an assignment topic or thesis subject.
Can I receive credit from my University for the Internship?
If you send us your University requirements in order to gain credit for the internship then we will make sure to arrange a placement which meets these requirements.
