Lennart; Supply Chain Management Internship in Brisbane

Lennart is from Germany and is now in Brisbane completing a Supply Chain Management internship in the Oil & Gas Industry;

My home city: Cologne is famous for: its Cathedral, Karneval and of course its delicious beer called Koelsch (also the local dialect so it’s the only language you can speak and drink)
When I was young I wanted to be a: Basketball player
I chose Australia because: I thought it might be the best (cultural) experience, the country with most diverse flora and fauna and also because it’s easy to combine with New Zealand where I spent the first time of my trip!
My impression of Australia before I arrived was: Not that green, full of animals and sunny
One thing I have learnt about Australia that I didn’t know before is: There can be really heavy storms with hail and floods. Working is really relaxed in a professional way.
Before I leave Australia I want to: Travel!
If I could live anywhere in the world, it would be: Next to my friends and family
Best advice I’ve been given is: Pay attention to signs warning for crocodiles or other dangerous animals
My worst job was: …Fortunately I have only had good jobs so far, hopefully that will continue (touch wood)!
Destination of my next trip: NSW and SA. Not too sure after AUS, maybe South or Central America or somewhere in Europe. But skiing in Austria next possible winter for sure!
Australia described in one word: Manifold
