Christina; Energy Efficiency Internship

Christina is from Denmark and she is currently doing an internship in the energy efficiency sector.

My home city: Grindsted is famous for: Being neighbour city to Billund where Legoland is.
When I was young I wanted to be: Professional handball player or cook.
I choose Australia because: I’ve wanted to go Down Under since I saw Crocodile Dundee for the first time (which was back in the late 90’s), so this was a great opportunity to do it.
My impression of Australia before I arrived: Is that it’s simply amazing – People are so friendly and everything is so beautiful.
One thing that I have learnt about Australia that I didn’t know before is: That there aren’t really that many ‘real’ Aussies down here, as I thought to be.
One thing I want to do before I leave Australia: Go to the Great Barrier Reef and dive.
If I could live anywhere in the world, it would be: Probably down here – I really love it.
Best advice given to me: Respect the ocean otherwise you have to be saved by the cute lifeguards.
Worst job I have held: Dishwasher at the family buffet at Legoland.
My next trip will be to: Perth or Tasmania.
Australia described in one word: ‘Chillaxing!’.
