Tourism Tech Internship
The company is the largest last-minute hotel booking app in Asia Pacific, present in 15 countries. Headquartered in Hong Kong, with the head office in Bangkok and local presences in 8 countries, the company gained quick traction throughout Asia Pacific. They were launched less than 2 years ago by a group of international entrepreneurs. To date, more than 4500 hotels partner with them to sell their last-minute inventory through the mobile app, helping spontaneous travelers find the best deals in an above-average rated 3-5* hotel. In Australia, the company currently covers about 30 destinations with 800 partner hotels.

The intern will work closely with one of the five co-founders who are based in Sydney and get hands-on insights into how partnership deals are set up, how a high-growth tech startup works, and how a multinational company collaborates. There will be a focus on closing partnerships in the telecommunication, financial services, transportation and entertainment industry, but is not limited to these industries.
The internship is made for ambitious students who are interested in travel / hospitality, in high-growth tech startups, and marketing in the broadest sense. The intern has to be self-confident, willing to learn and apply his/her best skills.
The intern will get exposure to external partners as well as internally to the team of 60+ (24 nationalities in 8 offices) and he/she will get deep insights into the travel industry at the forefront of the industry-transformation from online to mobile.
