Describe the path from your internship in Australia to your current position
My Internship in Australia were a part of my studies in Sweden. The Internship was half a year before I graduated in June 2019. Not so long after I graduated I got the job as an HR-specialist at the hospital in my hometown and that is my current position.
How did the internship in Australia contribute towards reaching your current status?
I think my internship was decisive to reach my current role. Other students in my class searched this role as well but in the end I got it. I think it was because of the job experience both that I were in an English speaking country and it was kind of the same “industry” (healthcare).
What were the most important OFFICE SKILLS you learnt during your internship?
For me the most important skill I learned were communication, not that it is important but how to communicate in another language than Swedish.
What were the most important INDUSTRY SPECIFIC SKILLS you learnt during your internship?
Are you still in contact with your Australian internship host company?
Are you still in contact with the friends you made while you were in Australia?

Living, hang out and explore Sydney with my three Norwegian roomies.
What do you miss most about your time in Australia?
The warm weather
