Amelie; Health Fundraising Internship in Sydney

Amelie is from Germany and currently completing her internship with a non-for-profit company. Like many others before her, she imagined the weather would be hot all year round. This past week of cold conditions would have taught her otherwise;

My home city: Regensburg Is famous for:  having good beer
When I was young I wanted to be: a professional in athletics
I chose Australia because: because of the open-hearted, friendly and helpful mentality, and also the landscape and wildlife
My impression of Australia before I arrived: That the weather is always good and hot hahaha
One thing that I have learnt about Australia that I didn’t know before is: Private fireworks are prohibited by the government
One thing I want to do before I leave Australia: Bungee jumping
If I could live anywhere in the world it would be: by the sea
Best advice given to me: Enjoy your life because you only live once!
Worst job I have held: Assembly line work in a milk factory
My next trip will be to: Hamburg, Germany
Australia described in one word: Amazing
