Paul is from Germany and completing an internship in Sydney at a recruitment office. From his picture it is clear to see he has settled in to the laid back Australian lifestyle and is enjoying the beautiful local beaches;
My home city: Cologne Is famous for: the Cathedral
When I was young I wanted to be: a pilot
I chose Australia because: it is so far away. Also to learn what working life is like here in Australia compared to Germany. Furthermore it has a beautiful nature and a lot of things to discover
My impression of Australia before I arrived: warm, beautiful, big, different to Germany.
One thing that I have learnt about Australia that I didn’t know before is: that Australians drink a lot of alcohol at work (Thursdays, Fridays, in the office), that the working life is as competitive as in America, that they don’t differentiate between working and private life (as the Germans do).
One thing I want to do before I leave Australia: is travel over 20,000 km with my car and enjoy my freedom and Australia’s nature
If I could live anywhere in the world it would be:…cannot say, need to discover more countries
My next trip will be: around Australia, I think that is enough so far…Don’t spend time on planning your life, just enjoy it!
Australia described in one word: nice
