Katharina; Events Internship in Sydney
Katharina is from a small town in Germany and is completing an internship in Sydney with an Events Management company. She still needs to try the famous ‘Vegemite’…loved by locals, despised by foreigners:
My home city: Rheda-Wiedenbrück is famous for: its half-timbered houses
I chose Australia because: I wanted to experience the Australian lifestyle and I also wanted to live in Sydney for a while
My impression of Australia before I arrived: was beautiful nature, relaxed lifestyle and deadly animals
One thing I have learnt about Australia that I didn’t know before: is that Australians love their air-cons more than anything
Before I leave Australia, I want to: try Vegemite
If I could live anywhere in the world, I’d choose: Sydney or Los Angeles
Best advice I have been given is: use lots of sunscreen
Australia described in one word: Stunning
