I chose to do an internship: I wanted vet experience and to explore Australia
My top 3 goals from the internship:
To get vet med hours for my vet school applications, to explore Australia and to gain confidence traveling by myself.
The most important thing I’ve learnt from my internship: I’ve learned a lot about veterinary medicine that have helped me to better understand the industry and what I want to do career wise. I will carry this knowledge with me as I go to vet school.
I chose Australia because: I’ve never been here before and it’s a place I’ve always wanted to see. I love the wildlife here!
One thing I have learnt about Australia: It’s a very diverse place with people from all around the world.
My Australian highlight so far:Taking a ferry to Manly beach and going for a swim.
