-Taronga Zoo

Australia’s unique animals can be seen at Taronga Zoo. From the Zoo you will also have an amazing view of Sydney’s skyline. A combined ticket for the ferry to the Zoo and the entrance fee is approximately $50. It is well worth the price.

Darling Harbour Fireworks

The Fireworks can be seen every Saturday night for free. It is really pretty to see and all around Darling Harbour you will find performances of dancers, musicians and other cool people giving away their best show. Go check it out.

Walk across the Harbour Bridge

From the Harbour Bridge you will have a perfect view of the Opera House and the Harbour. It is the world’s widest long-span bridge. The Bridge is 1149 metres long.

Sydney Eye Tower

From the tower you will have a great view over Sydney. It costs approximately $20 when booked online.

Northern Beaches

Take the bus L90 from Circular Quay or Central Station. It will take you to Palm Beach in 2 hours.  You will pass some of the most beautiful beaches in the Sydney area.

Royal Botanic Gardens – Free Twice Daily Guided tours

Explore the world of plants and the history of Sydney’s magnificent Royal Botanic Gardens with a knowledgeable Royal Botanic Gardens volunteer guide.
Daily at 10.30am – allow 1.5 hours.

1 hour lunchtime walk – Monday-Friday at 1 pm (March-November only, except Good Friday)

Tours depart from the Information Booth outside the Gardens Shop at the Palm Grove Centre.

-Chinese garden of Friendship

The Chinese Gardens differ from western-style gardens which usually have planted flowerbeds and manicured lawns. The Chinese Gardens have thoughtfully designed landscapes which aim to create harmony.
