Laura; Special Education Internship in Sydney

Laura is from The UK. She is making a difference by completing an internship at a school for children with special needs.
Drinking a coconut while she walks the streets of Bondi…we’d say she has adapted to her new lifestyle in Sydney;

My home city: Portsmouth Is famous for: its spinnaker tower, birthplace of Charles Dickens and Naval base
When I was young I wanted to: Work for the NSPCC
I chose Australia because:  it’s a beautiful country with great weather and incredible sights
My impression of Australia before I arrived: hot and full of things to explore
One thing that I have learnt about Australia that I didn’t know before is: some of the slang words
One thing I want to do before I leave Australia: is see Uluru
If I could like anywhere in the world, I’d choose: Bondi Beach
Best advice I have been given is: at night in Bondi, walk on the road rather than the pavements to avoid the creepy crawlies that hang from the trees
My next trip will be: New Zealand
Australia described in one word: Magical
