Anna; Media Internship in Sydney

Anna is from Germany and currently completing an internship in Sydney with a radio station. She has sent us one of the coolest, most creative images so far…Love It!

My home city: is a small town near Berlin is famous for: fruit wine and the Tree Blossom Festival (2nd largest festival in Germany)
When I was young I wanted to: be an Author or Radio presenter
I chose Australia because: it was a dream of mine to come here and I could do my internship in English, and I could link the pleasant with my something for my career
My impression of Australia before I arrived: was the majority of the country is Outback
One thing I have learnt about Australia that I didn’t know before: is the accent is not as hard to understand as everyone says; a lot of places are named like European or American/Canadian places (Toronto, Liverpool, Stonehenge, etc)
One thing I want to do before I leave Australia:  is see the Great Barrier Reef, do something not every tourist does
If I could live anywhere in the world, I’d choose: a town in Bavaria where I have lived for 10 years before we moved. Although I would try several cities like Leipzig, London, Sydney, somewhere in Italy (Tuscany), Auckland, La Gomera and Munich.
The best advice I have been given is: “Always everything” meaning use every opportunity to do things
My worst job was: No complaints yet 🙂
Destination of your next trip: Cairns
Australia described in one word: Diverse
