Perth is one of the most isolated cities in the world. However, if you believe that there is not much to do there because of this location, you are greatly mistaken. The city is beautifully located next to the Swan River with its many wineries and has amazing beaches. Furthermore, Perth has also the highest number of sun hours in the whole country, making it even more attractive for sun and water lovers. These are just a few of the reasons why Perth is counted among the best cities to live in the world. You can get around the city centre quickly, easily and safely with the free blue, red and yellow busses to see all major sights.

Swimming with the Sharks
Did you ever dream of swimming with real sharks? You can do that here in Perth! Together with a guide, you can swim for half an hour with the most dangerous marine animals in the AQWA (Aquarium of Western Australia). In addition, you can swim with other rare creatures such as giant sea turtles.

It is worth visiting the aquarium even in case you prefer to stay dry. You can walk around and admire nearly all marine animals at home in the Indian ocean. The aquarium is separated into five different themes and you can even walk through special corridors underneath some pools to get truly amazing view of marine life.
Kings Park
Kings Park is a beautiful place to relax in Perth. This park consists mostly of bush land but you find a stunning botanical section and some fountains as well. There are also many areas where you can barbeque or picnic. In addition, there is an open-air cinema where you can watch films in summer. You can also climb the DNA lookout tower in Kings Park. From this tower, you can enjoy a stunning view over Perth, the Swan River and the surroundings.
