Sydney is the bigest and oldest city in Australia and the capital of New South Wales. Sydney is located in the south-east part of Australia and counts over 4 million inhabitants.

The city has evolved from the natural harbour Port Jackson, where nowadays you can find the two biggest icons of the city, the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Sydney is bound by two natural limits, on one side she borders with the coastline of the Tasman Sea, on the other side the the nature reserve the Blue Mountains.

Accommodation in Sydney is booming, that is why you can compare Sydney accommodation prices to London and New York. For this reason many students and even Australians choose to share their rooms and accommodation to save on their living expenses. Internships Down Under is also able to offer single room accommodation and appartments but the prices and availibilities cannot be guaranteed.

Bondi Junction

One of the most beautiful suburbs of Sydney is Bondi Junction. We offer a few marvelous accommodation options in this lively district full of shops, cafes, restaurants and nightclubs. Close by the accommodation are the bus and metro stations that take you to the centre of the city in less them 15 minutes and you can also find the famous Bondi Beach within walking distance.

All accommodation options in Bondi Junction are shared rooms with very few single rooms. A modern shared kitchen, several clean bathrooms with showers, and wireless internet are available. Furthermore, all rooms are completely furnished and have a small private kitchen with a sink and a fridge. Moreover, linen, gas, water, electricity and internet are included in the rent as well. A large garden with barbeque invites you to socialize and a living room with TV to relax after work. 

This accommodation options is set up for students and interns staying three to six months. This location is perfect for interns working in the vicinity of the city centre or in the eastern suburbs.

CBD (Central Business District)

The Central Business District of Sydney forms the commercial heart of the city. It is the biggest and busiest Central Business District of Australia. The area around CBD is filled with skyscrapers and other buildings and malls seperated by parks like Hyde Park and the Botanical Gardens. The Sydney Opera House is also located within the Central Business District. In short, this is an ideal base for your stay or internship in Sydney.

The accommodation offered within this area is widely spread and all accommodation is different. There are appartment options, shared rooms and single rooms. Quite some of this accommodation can be found in the direct facinity of the Central Business District in Suburbs like: Glebe, Surry Hills, Ultimo & Darlinghurst.

 North Sydney

The accommodation offered in North Sydney includes breakfast and dinner, seven days a week. Bookings are possible for 13 weeks and more. In case you would like to stay for a shorter period, higher prices apply. This accommodation is fully focused on students either studying or doing their internship in North or West Sydney.
